More About Me
Back in the mid 80's, I worked in Film and Television. High levels of stress kicked me onto the path of alternative health - my passion for working with bodies was born. As a Shiatsu Practitioner and Cranial Sacral Therapist, I awoke to the body's innate intelligence; its ability to communicate truth and self-heal.

In the early 90's, fuelled by my desire to be in the presence of wild dolphins and whales I started to travel the world. Encounters with these extraordinary beings, together with visits to powerful sacred sites, was truly transformational and heart-opening, laying the foundations for my work.
During this period my work began to organically evolve into Intuitive Energy Healing, a thread that has run throughout my life, together with the creation of 'Dance for Joy'; freestyle movement classes.

Dance has always been my greatest joy and passion. I believe it is one of the most liberating, joyful experiences here on earth. Whether it is in the aisles of the supermarket, the privacy of my home, or the vaste hall of a conscious dance class, I quite simply love to dance.
In 2016 whilst visiting Hawaii, I experienced a life-changing Near Death Experience, I knew I was well on my way to recovery when I was finally able to wiggle my whithered butt, albeit not the most beautiful or elegant of dances. In 2021, completing a training in Dance of Awareness, allowed me to dive deeper into the healing power of movement.

Connecting with the body's innate wisdom fuels all my offerings. Through direct experience I recognise sickness and suffering as our body's way of bringing deeply held trauma patterns to the surface. As we courageosly face these old wounding we clear the way back to our true selves, to our pure essence of joy.
For many years, I danced with asthma, a journey that would take me to the pearly gates and back - several times! I am happy to say I am now free of this gnarly beast, have a wealth of knowledge about the condition, and a passion for supporting those also dancing with asthma.

In essence, I see our body as our portal home to Love. All that is required is the ability to stay in our hearts and courageously face everything that shows up in life; the good, the bad and the ugly. It's no small potatoes; at times very challenging, but the gifts are great.

In short, it's my great joy and passion to assist you in dancing home to who you truly are, to experience the radiance, joy and love of your essence, whilst navigating all that comes in its wake.
